Tom Schlichter

Award-winning author and photographer Tom Schlichter's byline has appeared in a wide array of prestigious outdoors venues including Salt Water Sportsman, The Fisherman Magazine, Offshore/Northeast Boating, Sports Afield and New York Outdoors. Tom also lectures frequently on both freshwater and saltwater fishing, and contributes regularly to a variety of outdoor websites, radio and television shows. He has authored four books: Coastal Angling Guide, Northeast Party Boat Fishing, How to Catch Clams by the Bushel! and most recently, Long Island’s Best Freshwater Fishing, available at local tackle shops and online right here at www.outdoortom.com.

Through his writing, photography, and seminars, "Outdoor Tom" continues to introduce both young and old to the beauty, mysteries and pleasures of the great outdoors. He lives on eastern Long Island, where he enjoys spending time with family while covering topics ranging from freshwater and saltwater fishing to boating, hunting and conservation.
